Hey. My name is ‘Bman’ and this is my blog. I'm not sure how common this is, but my intent is to create some sort of digital legacy or archive of my life. I had the idea recently[^1] to create this site to leave a record of my life as told by me for anyone who might be interested. I don't have children yet, but plan to, and hope they might one day read this and gain a deeper understanding of who I am than can be gathered from their memories of me. Even now, in 2023, there are numerous writing aids (in the form of generative AI) that can take my bullet-points and flesh out a blog post, but I'm going to refrain whenever possible from using them for this site. These words should be considered my own, which is important if you were to use the contents of this blog to talk to "me". I'm probably getting ahead of myself here; who knows what technology you have access to. I can guess though. So maybe you're related to me. Maybe you've taken on genealogy as a hobby. Maybe I'm not even dead yet. In any case, I hope my memories, experiences, life's milestones, and misc musings might be of interest.
